Structural Glazing Tape
FIANZA 1905 ST

The FIANZA 1905ST is a high density PVC Foam (300kg/m3) coated each side with a high performance acrylic adhesive. The acrylic adhesive offers excellent initial and long term bond strength. Our Filmic release liner helps with fast and simple removal over lower standard paper ones. The foam is black in colour so as to blend with most applications*.

1905ST is available in widths to suit all applications from 6mm through to 980mm and thicknesses as standard from 3mm to 12mm. Used as the spacer between insulated glass units and the frame itself during fabrication, 1905ST has been approved by major silicone manufacturers where the main bond is structural silicone adhesive.

Note : This product specification is accurate to the best of our knowledge and is intended only as a guide. Since the conditions of use may vary greatly, we can recommend the suitability of products for specific applications but cannot always guarantee them.

Application Guide

As with all tapes and foams, surfaces must be clean, dry free from grease and contamination and as smooth as possible. The adhesive coating is acrylic, so whilst adhesion is gained quickly, this will increase over a 24 hour period. This means making sure the tape is in the right place as repositioning can only take place if done quickly.

Benefits

The main benefits of 1905ST are that it has a low thermal conductivity, it is quick and clean to use with no waste, available in a range of sizes to suit and it is compatible with major silicone manufacturers.
